  12.     1. Updated VTEC51AN for SCAN/CLEAN 9.18v107

  14.        A. Removed /UNATTEND option support which was deleted and/or
  15.           otherwise default integrated into Viruscan(tm) execution.

  17.        B. Added support for the /AD, /ADL, /ADN network options. Added new
  18.           main menu selection "NETWORK GROUP SERVICE" . Read VT51ADOC.TXT
  19.           Page #21 for information on Local Area Network operation/install.

  21.        C. The Virus Terminus v5.1AN is a general "LAN AWARE" program.
  22.           MS-DOS v3.1 or higher + share.exe are required. Your LAN software
  23.           must be compatible with DOS network services. Read VT51ADOC pg#21

  25.     2. NOTE: Current memory requirement for SCAN is 390Kb free. The Virus
  26.              Terminus occupies approximately 52Kb RAM when executing SCAN,
  27.              CLEAN, or during DOS SESSION. ( VIRUSCAN 9.18v107 )

  29.     3. Default Drive/Directory selections for all menus except NETWORK GROUP
  30.        SERVICE default to LOCAL drives only. User or Installer may add the
  31.        NETWORK drives to the selection list by pressing F5-PROGRAM SETUP and
  32.        changing the configuration table entry ALL MENUS-LOCAL+NETWORK to ON.
  33.        This switch will be ignored if all station drives report as network.
  34.        This switch defaults to 'ON' for stand alone opertion.

  36.     4. The Virus Terminus now requires minimum MS-DOS version 3.1

  38.     5. Documentation and help updated to reflect current changes/additions.

  40.     6. Added "CRC FILE ANALYSIS" selection to main menu. Option provides
  41.        user selected file checksum analysis via McAfee Associates program
  42.        VALIDATE.COM . NOTE: This option was and still is available in
  43.        submenu selection "IMMUNIZE/DETECT/RECOVER"

  45.     7. Added SCAN/CLEAN report type option switching to program setup
  46.        configuration table. Modified F4-VIEW REPORTS to allow choice of
  47.        either view individual reports or view activity log.

  49.     8. Reminder: If you are using a notebook or mono-graphic display start
  50.                  Terminus with the /m option to eliminate background colors
  51.                  if desired.  ( vt51A.exe /m  <enter> )  Not necessary for
  52.                  True MDA display types. Read VT51ADOC for more startup opts.

  54.     9. The master activity log filename is now RPT_VT.TXT . The setup table
  55.        entry ACTIVITY LOG DIRECTORY should only contain the volume\directory.
  56.        User does not have a choice of log filename, only location.

  61.     9. VTEC51AN includes a new 32x32 16c ICON.

  63.    10. OPTION-LOCK in the ON position now only locks F5-PROGRAM SETUP,
  64.        F3-DOS SESSION, and <H> SCAN/CLEAN REPORT FUNCTIONS on most menus.

  67.    11. Added "F4-MAKE EMERGENCY WORK DISK" option to the program setup area.
  68.        This operation will create an emergency work disk to be used in the
  69.        event of computer virus infection. Please read VT51ADOC.TXT

  71.    12. The Virus Terminus now accepts DOS wildcard filtering for directory
  72.        displays, SCAN/CLEAN file selection, etc.  User is now given the
  73.        option to first manually enter the intended drive\path\directory\file
  74.        specification with wildcard if desired.

  76.    13. First time configuration process modified. If SCAN, CLEAN, VALIDATE
  77.        and VIRLIST are located in the same directory as The Virus Terminus,
  78.        the table entries for those program locations will automatically be
  79.        entered. Please refer to VT51ADOC.TXT for LAN installation.

  81.    14. Added PASSWORD to continue when adding immunization, removing
  82.        immunization, SCAN with delete or attempting recovery if a LAN is
  83.        detected.

  85.        This lock pertains to menu #3, IMMUNIZE/DETECT/RECOVER. Previously
  86.        only having the F6-OPTIONS LOCK in the ON position would require the
  87.        user to enter a password. Refer to VT51ADOC.TXT for information on
  88.        password definition, location and modification.
  89.  
  90.    15. The Virus Terminus 5.1AN reads the DOS environment variable STCVTEC.
  91.        Value of this variable may be set from the command line, startup batch
  92.        program or autoexec.bat file. Set STCVTEC equal to Virus Terminus
  93.        startup options. Read VT51ADOC.BAT for specific information on use
  94.        and implementation.

  96.    16. Removed menu support for the /MAINT option. This option may still be
  97.        used if necessary by adding /MAINT to the "ADD SCAN PRGM OPTIONS"
  98.        entry in the default table. Also, as of CLEAN 9.17v106 the /MAINT
  99.        option is now default integrated into CLEAN.EXE
  100.  
  101.    17. Added "SCAN -ENTIRE DIRECTORY + RECURSIVE SEARCH" menu option to
  102.        the SCAN/CLEAN DIRS/FILES menu. This options adds /SUB to the
  103.        SCAN/CLEAN command line. Individual file selection is bypassed, the
  104.        entire selected directory is scanned ( /SUB *.*), and any
  105.        subdirectories found within are also scanned in the same manner.
